Cleaning in today’s environment is a challenge unlike any we have experienced. We clean now to stay safe from viruses and bacteria. The importance of cleaning cannot be overstated. So how do we know we are doing it right? Our thinking on cleaning has been the same for so long it is now difficult to change it. One of the first things we must do is understand the science behind the chemicals and tools we are using. Biggest example is kill time. Depending on what brand or type you are using the kill times can be different. Some claim on contact, but read closer and that could be for bacteria, not a virus. We generally spray the surface and immediately wipe the moisture up, which is not what is supposed to happen. It must remain on the surface for the allotted kill time to work effectively. Read your labels, google the product and or company and simply do your homework before you purchase.
